Review of the Vitola Omertà

The silky, slightly glossy Colorado wrapper of the H 2000 variety looks inviting and is beautifully crafted. The binder comes from Ecuador. The filler contains tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Peru. This fine cigar is manufactured in Costa Rica. According to the manufacturer, the blend was created by former producer Don Luis Santana Llamas from the H. Upmann cigar factory in Cuba – interesting! The Il Padrino Omerta has a subtle aroma of mint and earth. The dry draw reveals surprisingly tart, bitter notes accompanied by dried fruit. The cigar is extremely firm and evenly rolled.
